Protocols

Angel Shot (discreet help at the bar)

If you feel unsafe or need help leaving a situation at the after party, go to the bar and ask for an “Angel Shot.” Staff will understand you are requesting help discreetly. If possible, head toward the SW desk or call an SW Chair/EMT.

  • Neat: escort to your car / safe ride
  • On Ice: help calling a Lyft
  • With Lemon: immediate danger; staff escalates help
CPR (quick steps)
  1. Shake and shout: “Are you ok?”
  2. Call 911 + get an AED.
  3. Check breathing/airway.
  4. Compressions: 30 compressions + 2 breaths (~100 BPM).
  5. Follow AED instructions if available.
Bleeding / sprains
  1. Assess injury.
  2. Bleeding: firm pressure ~10 min with clean cloth.
  3. Call SW/EMT.
  4. Elevate above heart if possible.
  5. Do not remove soaked dressing; add more on top.
